1pMobile is a UK SIM-only network that has been selling no-contract mobile service for more than 20 years. Its name is its original promise — 1p a minute, 1p a text, 1p a megabyte — and that pay-as-you-go tariff still sits alongside a full range of 30-day bundles with unlimited UK calls and texts.

The 50GB bundle at £10 is the value centre of the range and the one 1pMobile itself calls its most popular. The unlimited bundle is subject to a fair-use policy: 1pMobile may slow speeds at busy locations after 500GB in a bundle period.

Unlimited for households

1pMobile's unlimited and family bundle is buy one, get the rest half price: the first unlimited SIM is £25 every 30 days and every additional SIM on the same account is £12.50, with no limit on quantity. Two unlimited SIMs cost £37.50, four cost £62.50, and seven cost £100.

For anyone who would rather pay once, 1pMobile sells bundles that last a full year, each with unlimited UK calls and texts, 5G and EU roaming: 500MB a month for £48, 5GB for £55, 10GB for £88, 50GB for £110, 100GB for £165, 200GB for £220 and unlimited for £275.

The 1p tariff: pay-as-you-go done simply

The Classic PAYG tariff is 1pMobile's original product and still its most distinctive. Standard calls to UK landlines and mobiles are 1p a minute, texts to UK numbers 1p each, and data 1p a megabyte, at any time of day, with no connection charges and no monthly fee. On 23 September 2026 the Classic PAYG SIM was £5 instead of £10 and arrived loaded with £10 of credit.

It suits light users who resent paying for a bundle they never use up: a parent's emergency phone, a second line for a small business, a phone that mostly sits in a drawer. Credit can also be spent on international calls and roaming outside the EU. Bundles can be added on top from the online account whenever usage grows.

Roaming and international calls
