Beyond the Welcome deal, the UK homepage ran three standing offers on the same day:

Buyer Protection and free returns

Buyer Protection covers every order. You get a refund if:

• your item does not arrive, or is lost, within the guaranteed delivery window shown on the order page;
• it arrives damaged or short; or
• it does not match its description or photos — raised within 15 days of receiving it.

The guarantee is in addition to your statutory rights as a consumer, not instead of them.

Free Return applies to items that carry the badge, and the UK is one of the countries it serves. It gives you 15 extra days after the on-time delivery date to send an item back for any reason:

1. In My orders, open a "Return Goods" request.
2. AliExpress verifies it within two days.
3. Download the free return label within five days of approval, and print it.
4. Drop the parcel at a designated return point within 15 days.
5. The refund follows once the warehouse has checked the item.

Refunds go to your original payment method, or to AliExpress's faster refund balance if you prefer. AliExpress runs 24/7 live chat support.

VAT and customs on UK orders

Since 2021, online marketplaces must charge UK VAT at the point of sale on parcels worth £135 or less, so the price at AliExpress's checkout is the price you pay — no charge from the courier on delivery. Above £135, import VAT and any customs duty are collected as the parcel enters the UK. Splitting a large order into smaller parcels does not avoid VAT; it only moves where it is charged.
