## How to start the Kindle Unlimited free trial

1. Tap the button on this page. It opens Amazon's own Kindle Unlimited sign-up page.

2. Sign in to your Amazon account. Amazon shows the offer your account gets: 30 days free for new members.

3. Confirm the free trial. You can start reading straight away on a Kindle, a Fire tablet or the free Kindle app.

4. Pick up to 20 titles at a time. Return one to borrow the next; there are no due dates.

## Kindle Unlimited offers: is there a 3 months free code?

No. Kindle Unlimited has no promo code or voucher code. The standing offer is 30 days free for new members. Amazon sometimes runs longer introductory offers for eligible accounts, and when it does, the offer shows on the Kindle Unlimited sign-up page itself, with nothing to type.

So the fastest way to see your best offer is to open the sign-up page while signed in. If it shows the standard 30 days, that is the best deal live for your account today. Big sale weeks are worth a look too: Black Friday is 27 November 2026 and Cyber Monday 30 November.

## How to cancel Kindle Unlimited

Go to Manage your Kindle Unlimited Membership in your Amazon account (Account & Lists, then Memberships & Subscriptions) and choose to cancel. Amazon shows the date your membership ends, and you keep reading until then.

Cancel before the 30 days are up and you pay nothing. Your notes and highlights stay in your account, and the books you borrowed simply return.

## Is the free trial worth starting?

Yes, if you read more than one eBook a month. At £9.49 a month after the trial, Kindle Unlimited pays for itself quickly for series readers, romance and thriller fans and anyone who reads on the commute. Thirty days free is the easiest way to find out: read as much as you like and decide before you pay a penny. Every figure here was read on Amazon's own pages on 14 October 2026.
